There was no better way than to celebrate Makar Sankranti with the underprivileged kids and telling about the importance of the festival that is dedicated to the Deity “Surya” transiting in Makar rashi and arrival of Spring Season.
Tourism Plus Foundation, under its project of FOOD FIRST, followed the tradition by offering KHICHDI and sweets prepared with jaggery, to the kids and feeding mothers in slums.
