Self-Defence Training for Girl Students: Navyug Convent School

Safety of women has, of late, been looked into as primary importance in view of increasing incidents of cruelty and molestation across the nation. Tourism Plus Foundation has taken a lead in empowering women to be strong and tactful enough to protect themselves by undergoing an intensive self-defence training program that runs for 10 day. Under the program, approx.100 Girl students were trained in Self-Defence in Navyug School that concluded on 30 April 2018. The Program is an on-going process and we have embarked upon the mission to train minimum 1000 girl students every month

Books Donation : Aashman Foundation

Tourism Plus Foundation collected and handed-over books and toys for the benefit of underprivileged students of Aashman Foundation. Every donor also contributed Rs.5/- per book for maintenance, upkeep and welfare of the children being taught by Aashman Foundation. More such collection camps would be organised within next 5 to 6 months.

Dental Check Camp : DAV School

We took initiative to conduct Dental Check Camp from 18th to 20th April 2018 for the students, teachers and the staff of DAV School, Dwarka. The camp received tremendous response as almost 1100 students and teachers were present for the check up and this has been the biggest camp organised for any health program.

Say NO to Plastic .... Campaign in association with DAV School Students

We have had the privilege to be associated with DAV School to start a campaign to ban use of Plastic from day-to-day life. On 19th April 2018, almost 500 students formed approx. one KM long human chain and chanting slogans to ban plastic and displaying numerous banners with distinct messages to ban plastic. The message was amply clear for the citizens to shun usage of plastic and make the city clean and green for better environment. The event was graced by officials from Ministry of environment, Principal of the School and several residents

Support to cause of Justice to Rape Victims

Our Founder Trustee, Mrs. Shanu, raised a voice against atrocities being faced by women, especially the Rape Victims and represented Tourism Plus Foundation in Candle March organised at various locations in Delhi from 12th April 2018 onwards.

Health Check Camp at Vivanta by Taj, Dwarka

Our Foundation celebrated its first anniversary by organising a Health Check Camp in association with Manipal Hospital, at Vivanta by Taj, Dwarka, New Delhi for its staff members. The medical camp was a repeat and preventive exercise, with focus on physiotherapy consultancy and Bone Mineral Density Test. The next preventive medical camp is being scheduled for October 2018.
